Construction & Compliance

This base unit is constructed from moisture-resistant MFC (Melamine Faced Chipboard), making it appropriate for use in UK bathroom environments where humidity levels can vary. The 18mm panel thickness throughout the cabinet and fascia ensures a sturdy, dependable build suitable for everyday use in busy households. As with all bathroom furniture installations in the UK, it is advisable to ensure the unit is installed in accordance with the relevant requirements of BS 8000-13 (Workmanship on Building Sites – Above Ground Drainage and Sanitary Appliances) and in compliance with current Building Regulations Part G where applicable. Professional installation by a qualified tradesperson is recommended.

Design Flexibility

The 300mm width makes this unit particularly useful for filling gaps within existing fitted layouts or extending a run of bathroom furniture without disrupting the overall design. Its full-depth internal space ensures the cupboard remains genuinely practical, while the bleached oak finish pairs equally well with neutral palettes and bolder colour schemes. By selecting co-ordinating pieces from the Fusion range, you can achieve a consistent, tailored look throughout your bathroom.
